Information you provide

You can play without creating an account. Answers typed into a round are sent to the Noillirk server for validation and scoring. They are not used to build a public profile. If you email the project, the message, address, and any information you include are used to answer the request and maintain an appropriate record of the conversation.

Optional Google sign-in

When you choose Sign in with Google, Google returns a signed identity credential. Noillirk verifies it and stores your Google account's stable identifier to recognize your Noillirk account. Noillirk does not store your Google password, email address or profile photo, and this login does not request access to Gmail, Drive or other Google account content. Public rankings continue to show a generated alias. Linking existing guest progress requires a separate confirmation.

Local storage and game progress

Noillirk uses local storage in your browser to remember completed dives, scores, unfinished progress, language choice, sound preference, and whether an update notice has been dismissed. This information stays on that browser unless you clear site data, use a private browsing mode, or the browser removes it. Flight results and scores are also stored in Cloudflare D1 under a private player identity. An account, when enabled, can link guest identities. Clearing local storage does not delete server records.

Anonymous leaderboard identity

No email address or login is required to appear on a Noillirk leaderboard. When global leaderboards are available, Noillirk sets the krillion_player Cookie to recognize one anonymous player on that browser. The Cookie contains an internal random identifier; it is not the name shown on a leaderboard.

Noillirk generates a public alias for that identity. The generated public alias, score, rank, and two-letter country or region code are publicly displayed on the relevant global leaderboard. The code is derived from Cloudflare's request-location metadata when a ranked run begins; it is not inferred from the page language. Noillirk does not store the originating network address in the leaderboard database. Aggregate response freshness and reset timestamps are separate public leaderboard metadata: they describe the response or reset schedule, not an individual player's run.

Noillirk retains the internal identity, leaderboard score, accepted-answer count, duration, country or region code, board and challenge references, and run start and completion timestamps privately in its D1 leaderboard database. Those run timestamps are used for ordering, duration calculation, integrity checks, and anti-duplicate operations. They are not exposed as per-player public fields. Internal identifiers, nonces, and tokens are never publicly displayed. Noillirk flight results retain recognized answer names, outcomes and scores for your history. Unrecognized raw entries are not stored in that history. Optional account data is held separately from public leaderboard fields.

Clearing the Cookie creates a new identity on the next eligible visit. It does not automatically delete the previous public alias or its completed scores because the cleared browser no longer proves ownership of that earlier identity. For privacy requests, use the Contact page and include enough non-sensitive detail for the project to assess the request.

Analytics

Noillirk uses its own Google Analytics 4 property to measure page views, sessions, referral and campaign sources, browser and device information, approximate geography, engagement and interactions. Analytics loads automatically across this site and uses cookies to recognize a browser. Game events include starts, prompts, accepted or rejected submissions, passes, timeouts, completions, scores, practice mode, sharing and errors. Login and support events describe the action and its outcome. They do not contain raw answer text, passwords, Google identity credentials, private account identifiers or support post contents. Google processes analytics data under its privacy policy. Browser privacy settings, blocking tools and connection failures can prevent collection.

Anonymous game observations are also retained in Cloudflare D1 to understand loading, starts, round completion and errors independently of Google Analytics. These events use a random session reference, game mode, prompt fingerprint and broad device category, without answer text, private account identifiers or cookies. Site analytics is separate from the original Krillion site's analytics.

Advertising and cookies

Noillirk may use Google AdSense to fund operation of the free game. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, device information, and prior activity to deliver, measure, and limit ads. Depending on your region and consent choices, those ads may be personalized ads or non-personalized ads. Advertising providers act under their own privacy policies and legal responsibilities.

Where required, the site will present a consent message before eligible advertising storage or personalized advertising is used. You can also manage advertising choices through Google's published ad settings and privacy controls, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser.

Service delivery and security

Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, request headers, timestamps, requested URLs, and diagnostic data to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and investigate failures. Limited technical logs may be retained for operational and security purposes. Noillirk does not sell player account data. Optional account functionality uses Google sign-in only when enabled for this domain.

Some pages link to our Krillion companion wiki, product listings, or other external resources. A third-party site controls its own collection practices after you follow a link. Review that site's privacy information before providing personal data.

You can clear Noillirk local storage and cookies in your browser, decline optional consent where offered, use browser tracking controls, or stop using the service.
